E10 / ETHANOL FUEL Ethanol is an alcohol made from corn, sugar cane and other grains. Gasoline and ethanol blends can be used in your motorcycle if the ethanol content does not exceed 10%. Ethanol content of 10% is also known as E10. When blended with gasoline, it increases octane, reduces carbon monoxide emissions, and provides an alternative to petroleum-based fuels.
